    Eggshell membrane is the thin membrane that's found just inside an eggshell. C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex contains BIOVAFLEX® eggshell membrane, which is an innovative, novel ingredient that supports joint health.1 The joint-supporting ingredients in eggshell membrane include the proteins elastin and collagen.

  • Is C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex safe for dogs?

    Yes. Two separate studies examined the safety of C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® FR3SH® and eggshell membrane in dogs:2

    • In adult dogs, C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® FR3SH® chews are well tolerated at 1x and 5x the recommended dosage when given by spontaneous oral ingestion.
    • The eggshell membrane product was found to be safe at up to 5x the recommended dosage — the targeted margin of safety.
  • Does C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex taste good to dogs?

    Yes. A clinical study of 36 dogs has shown the palatability of C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex:3

    • 100% of dogs took the chew they were offered.
    • 100% of dogs chewed them.
    • 100% of dogs completely consumed the chew.
  • How often should I give my dog C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex?

    Generally, C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex can be given once daily. Always talk with your veterinarian before making changes to your dog's dental health care.

  • Are there any contraindications for giving my dog C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex?

    Your vet is the best resource for determining whether any product, including C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT® Flex, is suitable for your dog. This is true regardless of your dog's overall health and any existing conditions, such as diabetes mellitus, oxalate crystals or chronic kidney disease.
