Taking The Traditional 5-Way Further For Your Herd

BOVIGEN® Platinum Synvera is made to do more than the traditional 5-way protection by offering 3 additional layers of protection against Bovine Viral Diarrhea (BVD) with Mannheimia haemolytica genotypes 1 (serotype A2) and 2 (serotype A1), and Pasteurella multocida (serotype A3).

BOVIGEN® Platinum Synvera protects against:

  • BVD type 1a with demonstrated cross-protection against BVD type 1b
  • BVD type 2
  • Mannheimia haemolytica genotype 1 (serotype A2)
  • Mannheimia haemolytica genotype 2 (serotype A1)
  • Pasteurella multocida (serotype A3)
  • Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis virus (IBR)
  • Bovine Parainfluenza 3 virus (PI3)
  • Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV)

Perfect for preconditioning programs seeking broad respiratory protection with reduced endotoxin [lipopolysaccharide (LPS)] exposure, making it easier on calves by minimizing the risk of strong inflammatory reactions.

  • Provides comprehensive protection against BVD Types 1 and 2,1,2 IBR, PI3 and BRSV.

  • Vaccine strain BVD 1a has demonstrated effectiveness against BVD 1b.

  • Adds bacterial protection against Mannheimia haemolytica genotypes 1 and 2 and Pasteurella multocida.

  • Extends protection beyond a traditionalfive-way viral vaccine without adding complexity to the vaccination protocol.

  • Provides coverage against the disease-causing bacteria, not only the toxins they release.

  • Formulated with reduced LPS reactivity to support strong protection while being easy on calves.4

  • In a field study of 247 preconditioned beef calves, there were no systemic adverse reactions observed.3

  • 10-dose vial (20 mL)
  • 50-dose vial (100 mL)

Rehydrate the desiccated vial with accompanying diluent and shake well.

Inject 2 mL subcutaneously using aseptic technique, followed by a second dose of monovalent bovine respiratory syncytial virus vaccine (BOVIGEN® Platinum BRSV) Vaccine and a second dose of multivalent Mannheimia haemolytica genotypes 1 (serotype A2) and 2 (serotype A1), and Pasteurella multocida (serotype A3) vaccine (BOVIGEN® Platinum MH-PM) Vaccine to be given 14 to 28 days after the first dose. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product. The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity in calves and additional boosters will be required in most young animals. For advice on revaccination frequency, consult your veterinarian. Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label.

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle against infectious bovine rhinotracheitis virus (IBR), bovine virus diarrhea virus Type 1 (BVD), bovine virus diarrhea virus Type 2 (BVD), bovine parainfluenza3 virus (PI3), bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) and Mannheimia haemolytica genotypes 1 (serotype A2) and 2 (serotype A1), and Pasteurella multocida (serotype A3). The duration of immunity has not been determined. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use.
